Several factors can cause unwanted hair: age, ethnicity, medications, genetics, hormonal disorders, and certain illnesses. Even some temporary hair removal methods can cause excess hair growth.
At Silk Electrolysis, we provide rates by time increments. However. as time increases, rates become more economical.
All areas of the body can be treated with electrolysis except for inside of the nose and inside of the ears. We can treat all hair types and skin tones.
Electrolysis is safe to use on moles. However, you will need a doctor's note stating that the mole is safe to be treated. Electrolysis can safely treat areas with tattoos without changing the ink in the design.
Depending on how often you are able to attend sessions, how much hair you have in that area, and how distorted the follicles are, the process time for electrolysis can vary. With consistent appointments, some areas could take six months, some areas could take up to two years.
